The bed is made so well it is a complete memory foam not chopped up little bits. The cover is washable and My dog Alanore loves it. The main reason I bought the Barney bed is because Alanore is 10. It also looks awesome in my lounge room as the the color is neutral tone. Also, a quick response from the Barney Bed crew if you need to contact them.

We ordered a Barney bed for our Labrador puppy, as a single purchase, long term solution, for his bedding needs. We did lots of research, and read lots of reviews, and although the Barney Bed is expensive, every review mentioned the quality of the product, with no mention of regret at the purchase. And we have to agree, the bed is fantastic quality in every aspect. We have two covers, and swap them over for easy washing, on a regular basis. The zippers are concealed, so he hasn’t chewed at them. We have started using a single sheet on top of the bed, which makes it easier to keep clean, and reduces the washes of the Barney Bed cover. Other family members with fur babies have commented on his bed, and how good it seems to be, but not sure if they’ll balk at the price. We didn’t hesitate, and have zero regrets.

The covers wash excellently in the washing machine, as does the Barney blanket. The standard suede cover wears and spot cleans incredibly well - i usually spot clean and vacuum it in between machine washing. The medium fits both my French bulldogs - particularly good in winter so they keep each other warm. One dog loves the bed shoulders to nestle into, the other loves them as a chin rest. This large Barney Bed has been a definite winner! Rosie could not wait to get on the bed as soon as it arrived. She is a frail elder and she needs support to relieve her arthritis, the bed she uses the sides to support her "arms" and chin and cannot fall off the back. She is currently snuggled into a corner with her muzzle on the side. She has had quite a few beds, including expensive ones and memory foam ones, but this one has outshone them. She cannot wait to get on it! To see her now, the bed has paid for itself already. I am so pleased we got it for her! Would highly recommend as it is obviously now her favorite. In addition, the Barney Bed people are so helpful and answer any question helpfully and have been very friendly. We are very happy!

Set up the Barney Bed for my Ridgeback cross, (5 years old) bed is size L. It’s absolutely perfect. My boy just fell in love. You can feel the quality of the bed. He is 100 lbs the bed doesn’t sink when he lays on it. It’s perfect. Highly recommend. All fabric comes off to allow for easy washing. By far the best bed I have ever purchased for a dog. It’s taking treats to get my boy to leave the bed!

My dog is 70 lbs and large (size of a Labrador or Boxer or small Ridgeback). We bought the large bed and it’s amazing. It’s very solid and supportive. My dog loves the raised edges for head support. This bed should last her lifetime and if I do need to replace the lining because of tears or scratches (she has big claws) I can buy extra covers.

The bed is such an amazing investment. Absolutely no sagging, pilling or signs of wear and tear. The mattress feels as supportive as the one I sleep on every night. Everything about this bed is so thoughtfully designed and easy to wash as well as clear of the random things dogs manage to accumulate in their beds. The cat has claimed it for herself, but she's so content that she actually lets the dog share it (and she never shares anything). My Golden Retriever, Barnie, and Fox Terrier, Bob, LOVE their Barney Beds! As soon as I rolled them out, they jumped onboard and enjoy both wrestling and resting on them (often curled up together on the XL size). The covers are also a must, especially if grey doesn’t work well as a color scheme in your house. They’re thick and beautifully finished and easy to clean too. I ordered our Barney Bed on Friday afternoon and it arrived Saturday morning. It’s lovely, looks nice and feels like good quality. We ummed and erred about which size to get, as our working Cocker is at the recommended measurements for the medium so we had thought about getting larger as he loves to spread out. We went for medium and it’s plenty big enough. He jumped in it straight away and took a nap. We are transitioning out of the crate and he’s still choosing his crate at night time but the Barney Bed during the day. It’s only been 3 days and I’ve no doubt he’ll be going through the night in it by the end of the week.

This bed has been fantastic for our old dog with arthritis. She used to become more unsettled in the early hours of the morning, getting up and down, looking stiff and uncomfortable, now she sleeps through til we get up, looks more comfortable when she wakes and actively takes herself to her bed more often where she used to prefer the couch! The gentle raised edges are great too as she's always liked resting up one end of the couch with her head on the arm so the position seems comfortable for her. Thrilled with it all round.
